‘Hanikami Kanojo’

Hanikami kanojo (Shy Girls in Love) is the signature work of Piromizu-sensei, one of the most talked about independent illustrators in Japan at the moment.

This original project was born from the desire to see coy and bashful expressions that capture the essence of girlhood and youth. The work centers around a voice drama that is filled with bittersweet moments and highlights the excitement that accompanies the period of adolescence.

Beginning in September, Marion Crepes will hold a variety of events that showcases the unique characters and their world, exclusively at J’s Gate Dining @ Lot 10. Exclusive goods, special crepe packaging, in-store display, a cosplay friendly photo spot and a yukata wearing event with a grand prize of a trip to Japan are some of the things lined up for all to enjoy. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to experience the artwork and characters of ‘Hanikami Kanojo’ for the first time ever in Kuala Lumpur.

Photo spot with life-sized panel - Yukata and Cosplay.

There will be life-sized panels of the Hanikami Kanojo characters on display all day at J’s Gate Dining and customers are welcome to come and take pictures with the panel whether in your own original seifuku (school uniform) cosplay or with Yukata (provided by Marion Crepes). 5.Once you've posted, complete the submission using the entry form as instructed on the page.

Piromizu is an independent illustrator, based in Osaka, who is primarily active in bishoujo game artwork, magazine pin-up illustrations, and light novel illustrations.
He is currently one of the most talked about doujinshi (independent) illustrators with over 340K followers on twitter. Known for his stunning visual depictions, his merchandise sells quickly, reaching tens of millions of yen over the span of a few days.
